e.office Opens

Sir George Young opened the SEEDA funded e.office.

This is the first rural electronic office in the South East of England and it aims to support small businesses and those whose companies allow them to work from home but who don't have all the space or facilities required.

The e.office is located right in the centre of Whitchurch at 1 Winchester Street map and comprises office space for 3 workers, a meeting room for up to 6 people and a kitchen for the preparation of drinks.

The office is fully equipped with 3 PCs and cable/WiFi connections for users to bring in their own laptops . It also has:

colour laser printer/photocopier/fax machine catering for sizes up to A3 and duplex operation

a laminating machine (up to A3)

A4 ring binding machine

A3 guillotine

security shredder

back up storage for users' laptop data

The meeting room offers a table to seat up to 6. It also has:

cable/WiFi connections for users to bring in their own laptops

data projection on to a 5' screen

whiteboard

flip chart

It can also be set out as a small training room for up to 4 students, using the projection facilities.

Desk space in the e.office and the meeting room can be hired by the hour, half or full day, or evening. Costs are on the rate card; these are rates for occasional use, W4W is happy to negotiate a lower rate for regular users. Please also see our special offers

The desk space rental includes a basic usage rate of mono printing/photocopying, use of additional consumables (eg colour printing is available at just above cost price.

Use of the office and its facilities is open to all a the rates shown and also free of space rental charges as a benefit  to members of Working4Whitchurch. Membership details are here
